Terms & Conditions

By booking with Paw Society Perth, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions

1. Health, Vaccination & Behaviour Requirements

Pet must be in good health & free from any contagious illnessses. Owners must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, sensitivities or behavioural concerns prior to the appointment.

Paw Society Perth reserves the right to refuse any dog displaying signs of injury, illness, or behaviour that may compromise the safety of the dog or groomer.

If your pet has a health emergency of any type during the groom, you agree for us to take the animal to the closest vet, and you agree to cover all vet costs.

You agree to disclose any history of behavioural issues or instances prior to the appointment.

If a dog displays any dangerous behaviour during the groom, Paw Society Perth reserves the right to stop the groom immediately. You remain responsible for the payment of the service booked.

Where severe matting is present, Paw Society Perth may recommend clipping the matts out. In this instance, the owner understands that removing heavy matts may reveal pre-existing skin conditions/sores/irritation hidden beneath the coat. In the case that matting must be clipped out of the coat, you will be contacted prior to consent. If consent to clip the matting out is not given,  you understand the groom may not be able to continue, pending severity.

Paw Society Perth is not responsible for any after-effects resulting from removal of matted coats.

2. Coat Condition

3. Fleas, Ticks & Parasites

Pets found with fleas, ticks or other parasites may incur an additional treatment and fee.

Paw Society Perth reserves the right to refuse service if a severe infestation is present.

4. Grooming Risks

Although extensive care is taken during every appointment, grooming equipment and procedures carry inherent risks such as minor cuts or nicks, clipper irritation, reactions to grooming products, exposure to pre-existing skin conditions, etc.

You acknowledge and accept these risks.

5. Service Refusal

Paw Society Perth reserves the right to refused or discontinue services at any time where the pets behaviour, health, welfare, coat condition, or circumstances present any risk to the dog, groomer or equipment.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

A $40 deposit is required to secure your booking.

 

Appointments must be cancelled/rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Your deposit will be refunded if notice is given with more than 24hrs notice.

 

Appointments cancelled/rescheduled with less than 24hrs notice will not be illegible for a refund of deposit.

Payment is due immediately upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed. Booking deposit is taken off service fee. For de-shed appointments, final fee will be confirmed after appointment pending time taken.

Paw Society Perth Reserves the right to refuse future bookings where outstanding amounts remain unpaid.

8. Photography & Marketing

Photographs and videos may be taken before, during or after grooming for record-keeping or marketing purposes.

If you do not wish for your pets to be photographed, you must notify Paw Society Perth prior to your pets appointment.

9. Satisfaction Policy

If you are dissatisfied with your service, Paw Society Perth must be notified within 48hrs of the appointment to discuss a feasible solution.

10. Breed & Service Limitations

Paw Society Perth is currently limited to bathing, deshedding and grooming services for short-coated, double-coated, large and giant breeds.

We do not currently offer full grooming, clipping, scissoring, or beed standard styling services for breeds not listed on our services page.

If a booking has been made for a breed not currently accepted, Paw Society Perth reserves the right to decline the booking.
